*yawns* Im so damn tired today. I guess a drive and school will do that to ya, eh? I forgot how much I missed all this fun! (note-sarcasm)
I have made no friends in class, suprise, suprise. Heh. I actually dont care cause Im not really there to make friends moreso than learning the trade, ya know? I wonder seriously how long some of these students will last esp. when it comes to gross anatomy. Thats funny, gross anatomy. And I wonder how many will stick around to dissect hearts, livers, a fetal pig, etc and observe students doing embalmings. Up close and personal with death, yes indeedy. I cant wait for bio labs! It actually happens once a week for us, hurray!!
I think tomorrow though, Im gonna skip going to class. Our bio teach cancelled our 1st labs tomorrow because (oddly enough) shes got a funeral to attend and my sociology class is only 1hr. Eh, I just cant justify myself driving a total of 4hrs for a 1hr class that more than likely would be let out early-- all our classes have got out earlier than stated. If that makes me a slacker, I guess I am. I'll call and get the assignment and borrow notes from someone in class...
And, the homework is already piling up thanks to a hyperactive english teach--good lord! 3 pgs of homework and an essay about yourself. Oh, the fun! (theres that darned sarcasm, again)
I took a detour on the way home from school today, though. I decided I would check out Williamstown, KY.
Talk about cool. Much older town with a neato looking 'downtown' area. And than I was looking for a newspaper so I could check out places to live-- would be so much closer to school yet the thought of leaving where I am now would suck. I just dont honestly think I can make this drive for a full year and a half.
I stumbled upon a funeral home, beautiful beautiful it was.. so Im going to either go back and approach them for a job or call and inquire. Dammit, someones gotta give a gurl a break....
And than I came upon a wonderfully beautiful cemetary. WOW! I mean some of these markers were so, so tall, so old, things like that really fascinate me. Im going back with my camera :D
Of course, with as many windy roads as KY seems to be notorious for, I best be careful otherwise I may have a marker at the cemetary myself. I kid you not Ive never seen so many curves, winds, twists.. its frightening at times for me cause ya know NE doesnt have all these curves and than you see the locals zooming around this shit doing 60 and your like *jaw drops in amazement*
Well, I suppose I should go downstairs and find something to eat... Im supa hungry since the last time I ate was 11a, heh shit its been about 12hrs now I suppose I can eat. Yeah. Have a good Thursday, yall... I know I will ;)
