Happy Halloween, Pics & Rant
@ 12:55 am on 01 November 2006
Well, its officially the first of November. Blah. The only thing I can think of that makes this good is that were one month away from cashing in on kickass presents (hopefully!).
Downside to that? Money for presents.
Weve been struggling with low cash flow for the past 2 months. Why? Because the boy started college at ITT Tech and needed a PC that worked unlike his previous POS that croaked last year sometime. So, 600$ gone for a kickass HP-- were super happy with it. :) , my fuel pump decided it was time to crap out after only 3 yrs of service. Bastard fuel pump. That cost 547$, the towing charges (2x) about 100$ and the insufficient funds in our bank account 127$. Nothing like pissing green in the wind which is what I felt we did. I'll shut up.
So, more money woes. I decided why not have our families ALL get together and the boy and I will host turkey day. Really, what the fuck was I thinking?! Were looking at 14 people right now and the list seems to grow. Seriously, what the hell am I gonna do? The most Ive had to cook for is 4 and now its steadily increasing. The thought of equations to figure out how much I'll need to ensure theres enough for all is making me crazy. And where were housing all of them in our place? Havent a clue. I see a disaster awaiting me.
I guess I shouldnt complain too much because with my familia down here we can go shopping and decorate the tree. Im so looking forward to that!
The boy freaked himself out today but Im hoping hes learned a lesson. I dont care to go into detail right now but I will at a future time. Stay tuned.
Lastly, I hope everyone had an awesome All Hallows Eve! Summer and Triston had a good time. Here's a couple pics!
