The test I spent all lastnight studying for in Bio was pointless. Everyone (except myself & Adrienne- cause we were absent) scored so shitty that the teacher just decided to give everyone a perfect score. How nice. It saved Adrienne and I the trouble of even having to attempt taking the test. It actually pissed me off cause ya know, grades shouldnt just be handed out, if you did shitty than you need to better prepare yourself is my take on it... but what do I know?
My test in Sociology didnt go so well. One question I for sure couldnt answer. I had missed a day in that class and never bothered to get notes or anything from a fellow classmate and I know prolly I missed acouple 2 or 3 questions. That sucks. But I can be adult enough to blame myself because I missed a day, failed to get info and... AND didnt bother to read the chapter. I scolded myself, belive me.
One of the students already dropped out. Crazy. Why waste all your time and energy on getting enrolled if you dont plan on sticking it out? I honestly dont think she had the desire, I think it was more her wanting to impress her Funeral Director boyfriend. Blah!
Today, Jarron and I ventured off to the 'forbidden' room. Yeah, curiousity will do that to ya. Turns out it was only a room filled with about 10 caskets and some urns. If it were inside an actual mortuary it would be the viewing area where the family selects the burial goodies. Hmm, maybe goodies wasnt the best word to use.....
And while Jarron, William and I were in the student lounge the 4th-5th qtr students were randomly asking other classmates of theirs if any had became turned on by seeing a naked dead body. No one admitted it but there were some blushing faces, heh. Yeeaaah. lol
I showed my school support and bought some goodies from them, like... a thermal beverage holder, keychain and a t-shirt (for my dad). I talked to Mrs. Leon (financial aid) for about 10 mins, I like our convos. She bothered me at first but Im very fond of her now. : )
Some people from Spring Grove Cemetary & Arboretum came up to school and gave us some brochures, ya know, wanting us to come check them out. This place sounds really amazing. The cemetary is about 733 acres big and has several man-made lakes, waterfall, statues, etc. I cant wait to go. Im thinking of going tomorrow since I dont have class or maybe over the weekend. I figure if the weather is decent than it would be great to take the digicam and leisurly walk and snap pics! Yay!
I asked Jacky (hes at Ft. Knox for another couple months) if he wanted to come to Cincinnati with me this weekend or next weekend. Figure we could cruise downtown, the riverfront, that cemetary *again*, take pics of Cinci, check out Newport Aquarium, the zoo... stuff like that. : )
He has to check his schedule but Im hoping its a go. It sucks when you have no friends in this area and dont wanna go do everything by yourself. Gah! I should ask Anths mom if she'd wanna go, heh. I seriously would take her. Heh, which reminds me I guess she was abit upset that I didnt come with the boy this past weekend to see her. : / Ooops.
Jacky finally got around to loading the pics of that beautiful lake we stumbled upon when he came down here to visit. Yay. So, be on the lookout for those in my photoblog. *excited for piccies!*
