Morning. So, I was browsing the net afew mins ago obsessing over wireless phones. Im thinking Nextel or Sprint would be the way to go. Im really leaning towards Nextel because of this phone. Oh, why, why, WHY does it have to cost so damn much? Better yet, why do I have to like such expensive things? Damn small technological wonders. They have me and my $$ hooked.
Have yet to find a phone from Sprint that impresses me. One thing in Sprint's favor is the polyphonic ringtones. I ♥ those so much. Nextel's phones still use midi. Sad. Hmm, cool ass phone or cool ass ringtones? And I need a color screen. Ive been spoiled. Im going back Tuesday... maybe I'll have made a decision by than.
My moms b-day was on the 24th as well as my godson, Devin's. He turned 3. His mommy (one of my bestfriends) didnt have such good luck though. :(
She found out her nephew, Dustin died in a head on collison with a tree. Its really sad how it happened, well I guess I should say leading up to the accident (if you want to call it that).
Dustin and his ex-wife were in a custody battle over their infant gurl. The mother had her for the time being and told him he was not allowed to visit her and he was not allowed to be at her birthday party. Well, his daughter is his life so when she refused him he went drinking. After he drank himself into oblivion he drove himself home.... not sure of the details after that but he hit a tree in a rural area of town and no one found him until a day after his accident. He was barely alive from the impact of the crash, add in freezing cold temps and when he made it to the hospital via ambulance he was D.O.A.
Dustin's family is devastated (rightfully so) and is calling it suicide. Im not sure what I would call it other than tragik. I can only wonder what kind of impact this will have on his lil gurl's life. I also feel sorry for her when she finds out the truth.... the reason behind his death in ways created by her mommy. I dont think she'll forgive her mom for that. I know I wouldnt.
Sum had her 2nd week of guitar lessons. Roger (her instructor) advised getting an electric tuner but I want her to learn to do it on her own. He said its hard to teach a child that, well duh. Nothing is supposed to be easy. Either you can teach her or you cant is my thinking.
Its too bad Anthony isnt around because he plays and tunes his shit himself so I know he could do it. Hell, hes already volunteered to teach Sum when were living there and if she still has interest in it.
I joined acouple Yahoo Groups the other day. I dont know how long I'll stick with that though. They deal with funerals, embalming and processes of death and dying (decomposing). That to me is prolly the most fascinating thing of all, so Im excited to learn more.
Anyways, time to close the 'ol diary and catch some sleep. zzZzzz, night.
