Yay for a new entry... finally!! Listening: Informatik - Oblivion
I cant believe I haven't made an entry since Sept '08! I truly never expected to be gone from DLand for so long! The boy and I are good but things at times are rocky, what marriage isn't, right? I think we need to see a marriage counselor and he disagrees with that so I threatened divorce. I know, I know... but sometimes its the only thing that makes him listen. So, when his insurance switches from the current to the new, we will get that taken care of. We now have two awesome cars. Its about damned time. I think for about 2 maybe 3 years we were down to one vehicle to share because of misfortunes (totaling of car, blown engine in another, and generally one that was just a piece of shit). Now, we've got a '07 Mazda 6 (have I said how much I love this car??) and a '98 Chevy S10. Its a cute lil truck! So I feel were doing A-OK!
I'm 31 now. Yippee. You know what I hate? How when your birthday rolls around and everyone asks you, "So, Blakkrayn do you feel any older?" Umm, no at last check I felt the same as I did a day ago. Amazing. It makes me want to slap the shit out of them. Annoying. Seriously if that's supposed to be some ice-breaker or conversation starter I'd prefer you didn't speak to me at all. We went to the Louisville Zoo, which is a disappointment to me. I guess I'm spoiled from the Henry Doorly Zoo in Nebraska- ultimate zoo in my opinion. Heh, we managed to go on a day that sirens were going off letting us know we were in a tornado warning. Fun, fun, fun!! Checked out Mall St. Matthews. Neat lil mall, very odd name. Oh, and the highlight? The Bodies Human: Anatomy In Motion exhibit at the Mellwood Art Center. When I was in Mortuary College that exhibit was in Cincinnati but I didn't want to go by myself and Anthony wouldn't go with me because he thought it was gross so I missed out and I was bummed for a long, long time. We'll I was in the hotels lobby- seeing what else we could find to do there in Louisville and stumbled across the brochure and was like, "YES!!". I had pretty much decided I didn't give a shit if anyone else wanted to go or not, it was my birthday weekend and its what I wanted to do... so we did! And without any protests, imagine that. :)
OMG! The exhibit was awesome. I cant even begin to go into detail how cool and how fascinating it was. If this exhibit comes your way, I highly recommend you check it out.
Oh, I'm also trying to convince Anthony to go to North Carolina to visit my bestestestestest bud in the whole wide world but I don't know how up for it he is, so if he wont go I shall just solo it with the kids since he would more than likely have to work and I don't, lol. Gah, that was mean. ;) Alrighty, its pretty late over here so Im gonna get a little sleep. G'nite! |
